FAQ’s:
Insurance & Payment
Do you accept insurance? I'm an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. What I can offer is a superbill, a special receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits, or to your HSA if you have one. I want to be upfront: there's no guarantee your insurance will reimburse you, and I'm not able to submit additional documentation, like session notes to verify "medical necessity" on your behalf. I know navigating insurance can be frustrating, and I want you to have clear expectations from the start.
Therapy timeline:
How often will we meet? For both individual and couples therapy, I typically recommend weekly sessions. This consistency helps build momentum toward your goals. Once you've reached and sustained your optimal level of wellness, we'll talk about transitioning to bi-weekly sessions together.
How long will I be in therapy? My goal isn't to keep you in therapy forever. Therapy is to help you build the skills and insight you need to create the life and relationships you truly want. Therapy is a tool, not a life sentence, and I'll work with you toward the point where you feel equipped to thrive on your own.
